“Green Child of Mine was one of our first clients over 11 years ago. Back then we designed a custom website for them to sell their products and since then, we have changed the design a number of times at their request to keep up with current trends within ecommerce. We have used Opencart, Magento, WordPress and Shopify. Shopify is the latest content management system they use and this was developed and designed by ourselves. Shopify is a complicated CMS, as it is written in a different computer language from many websites. We transitioned the site from Magento to Shopify seamlessly with no down time.”
On this website there are many add on elements to improve the usability for new and existing parents to the nursery. A Facebook feed updates all the images on the site when new images are loaded onto facebook.
There are accordion tabs with information about the playworkers, but done in such a way that prospective parents are not overloaded with information.
Tables are used to highlight meals set by the nursery and nutritional values.

This project had a short time to be completed and full use or wordpress and phtoshop where used the most
We were asked to create a new website for the church. This project had a short time to be completed as it was a request of the Bishop of manchester to be completed before the advertisement for a new vicar for the church could be advertised. The old one needed to be updated. We were given examples and strict guidelines of how the site should look and feel, along with what content was needed for the site. We added a slider at the top which incorporates aerial footage of the church taken by drone
We added elements such a single line announcement of the next event at the church with a countdown and time on it and then lower down the home page an events diary which scrolls and keeps all parishioners informed of the weeks and months events. There is also a notice element on the page and a facsbook feed, which brings in all the updated information from the churches facebook feed. There is also an element for a video diary of all the recent sermons.
The navigation menu is in depth and the site is a wealth of information and resources for the community to look at. The website is well structured and needed to be due to its size and information it holds
